Just popping in with my weekly MAREES MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:

I like that quote because it reminded me how much I  love learning; I like how it expands and broadens life into newer thoughts and different paths. I also enjoy who my teachers can be, at ANY age.

I recall Mr. G (grandson) who stated, "Nanny, did you know that frogs can't swallow without closing their eyes"?

On Sunday, Mr H (Grandson) offered to show me how to properly do burnouts with his remote control car :)  How proud they are to have been able to share and teach me something. :)

Life is full of learning and changes.

Detours happen to everyone, one moment you are headed in one direction, and the very next WHAM that direction has been either altered or taken.

It can come as quite a shock, or a slow burning transition.

What happened to that life road you were travelling? It simply ended or changed.

Everything ends and begins.

For a while, take time to observe and think about where you are today—and what new decisions are now pressing on you.

Changes happen to everyone, and you cannot control all the changes, yet you can choose how you will respond to it all. 

What you take from the experience is what you have learnt.

By removing any ego we become open to more creative changes.

I like to thank the experience, and thank the person, big or small who helped me become who I am.

New beginnings happen to everyone.

And spring is close.

No matter how hard winter seems,  life will change again, and again. 

It's very possible that the detours or lessons of life will lead you to a place of deeper happiness and more satisfying moments than you have ever known before.  

Especially when you too are willing to change a few things..
